September 3, 2008 Another great summer for Edge draws to a close. The Edgefest shows have been awesome, and best of all they're not over yet! Two more Edgefest shows are coming up this year, one on Thanksgiving weekend and the last one for 2008 will be over the Christmas holidays. Thanks to everyone for coming out and supporting every show, we'll see you on October 11th when Edge takes the stage with Junkmale!
With the end of the busy summer season, we are changing our focus to completing our second cd. We are excited about the new songs and can't wait to have a finished product to share!

July 30, 2008 The next Edgefest will feature Summerside's own SUNNYVALE and MISTY WATER.
SUNYVALE is Eric Rodgerson, Ryan Gallant, and Kurt Rogers. This young power trio perform songs from the 70's, 80's, 90's and today, from acoustic to electric to the keyboard.
MISTY WATER will make you wanna dance! John Gosse, Roy Arsenault, and Roger Ahern make up this lively musical trio from Summerside. They play a wide variety of music and are all about having a good time

October 11, 2007 EDGE was invited to appear on a compilation CD by "272 Records", a company out of Hollywood California. The CD, entitled "Riot on Sunset Volume 6", is distributed to radio stations across the U.S. and sold online at Amazon.com. "Revelation" was the EDGE track selected for the compilation along with 21 other tracks from bands around the world.

June 26, 2007 EDGE opening for Aerosmith!!!...????.... It could happen with your help!
EDGE are in a voting contest to be the opening act for the huge Aerosmith concert this Summer in Charlottetown. Six bands are competing for the honour to open the biggest concert to ever rock our island! EDGE wants to be that band!

June 18, 2007 A big thanks to everyone for making the first ever Edgefest Summerside a huge success! We had a great night at the Shipyard Market last Saturday night. Music fans were out in full force with a capacity crowd in attendance. It was a rare treat for us to share the stage with our friends in Junkmale, the last 4 songs of the night were a jam with both bands on stage, 2 drum kits and all! You don't see that everyday!

We are working on making the second concert even better than the first, more details to come. February 17, 2007 EDGE Winter 2007 PEI tour continues! We'll be performing at The Guild in Charlottetown this Friday February 23rd at 8 pm. Back by popular demand, Apollo will be opening the show for us.
Our show at the Jubilee was awesome, thanks to the great crowd for coming out on a blustery night to rock with us! Thanks also to Apollo for opening the show and playing a couple of tunes with us, we look forward to our show together this Friday!

January 25, 2007 PEI tour dates announced! Call us crazy, but we're embarking on a Winter tour of PEI! Our first of several "all-ages/all-originals" shows kicks off Friday February 2nd at the Jubilee Theatre in Summerside. Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door.
The show at the Jubilee will also feature a new group composed of TOSH students Trinity Bradshaw on Vocals, Jeremy Arsenault on Acoustic guitar, and KISH student Justin Pickering on Acoustic guitar. They were provincial winners of the 2006 ECMA SoundOFF.
We are pretty excited to be writing material for our next CD and will be playing 5 new songs during these special all-ages shows. We are still in discussions with other venues so more dates may be added soon!

January 13, 2007 Happy New Year! 2006 was a great year for EDGE, we're proud of our accomplishments including a #1 single on the East Coast Countdown, and two Music PEI Awards including the Entertainer of the Year.
So what are we planning for 2007? Well, we are writing new originals for an upcoming new album. We're really excited with the new songs, so excited we want to share them with you! Friday, February 2, we'll be performing at the Jubilee Theatre in Summerside at 8 pm. In addition to the songs from our debut CD, we'll be playing several brand new songs!

December 14, 2006 We're gearing up for a busy Holiday season starting this weekend in Charlottetown! Friday night we're at Hunter's Ale House playing a set of original music followed by Chamberlane. Saturday night we'll be rockin' at St. James' Gate. Saturday December 23rd, join us for a "Christmas Eve Eve" party at the Kensington Club.
On Monday January 1st, come celebrate Levée Day with us at the Heritage Pub from 6 pm - 10 pm. We'll also be celebrating at the Miscouche Legion that afternoon, come and say hello! Last year we played a surprise set, maybe there'll be a repeat this year.....

November 12, 2006 We had an incredible night at the Music PEI Gala Awards last Friday night. We were honoured to have won two Music PEI awards, the 2006 "Entertainer of the Year" and 2006 "Weekend Warrior of the Year" awards! Both awards were voted on by the general public, meaning you the fans, and we are thankful that we have such great fans who always show their support! So we thank you and promise to keep working hard on our music and rocking our best at every show in return!
The awards gala was a great show all around, a crowd of over 700 were in attendance to see the awards handed out, not to mention some incredible performances.
We performed an extended version of "I Can't See You", our #1 East Coast single. We will be adding audio/video clips to our website soon as well as pictures from the night, so check back often for updates!
In other news, we are continuing writing new songs towards our second album. The process is going great, we're producing some great material and having lots of fun!

Last Thursday was also a great show. The Teen Dance for the Acadian Festival totally rocked! Another great crowd and a great time! The highlight of the night was when Dan Arsenault took over the lead guitar for "Thunderstruck". This young musician treated us to an incredible performance and will surely be a major player on the scene someday.

We will be performing at Brennan's on Friday February 24 at 11:30 pm and at Myron's on Saturday February 25 at 2:00 a.m. (that's technically the morning of Sunday February 26).
